Calling for Pastor Bob!!!!

Okay Pastor Bob. Lent is over. You can come back and join us now. We miss your stories and pictures of your Paramount. Cycling season must be in full swing up your way by now.

Won't you come join us again, please!!

Your friends at 50+, we miss you!!

Red Baron 05-20-07 11:21 AM

Pretty Please!

CrossChain 05-20-07 11:49 AM

PastorBob.......remember that pic of your peanut butter birthday cake........I still do. We need our chaplain back. Besides, without your levelheadedness, people like me are clouding the atmosphere here. Seriously, PB, it would be good to have your voice back in the 50Plus peanut gallery.

I tried to call him out a couple of months ago. Wasn't successful.

Seriously, you look like Shirley Temple in both those pics. I'll bet I'm not the first to say that.:)

Yes, I've heard that:) I bet she disliked her curly mop as much as I did mine. I even tried ironing it as a teenager but that didn't work out:eek:

Thanks, but it's not the same when Pastor Bob isn't the poster. Sorry, TB...

Tom Bombadil 05-20-07 10:41 PM

I did the best I could.

As you have no doubt learned by now, that's not good enough for this crowd! :(

I PM'ed him a while ago to wish him a good upcoming biking season after seeing a post in the Classic and Vintage group. He is alive and well and posts over there on occassion.

Yep, that's where you'll find him these days... on the Classic & Vintage Forum.

CrossChain 05-21-07 05:49 PM

I don't blame him.....I consider myself a classic and certainly I'm vintage of some sort...not just another run-of-the-mill olde pharte with graying goatee; maybe I should check 'em out.

Last I heard, PastorBob was still only 48 years old. Perhaps he is off aging and mellowing a bit more before rejoining us.

I believe he was upset by some of the possibly sexist/raunchy remarks posted herein.

Lately, I have been too.

I guess under the right mind set and imagination a golf ball is a "possible sexist/raunchy" obiect.

Tom Bombadil 05-22-07 12:56 AM

Am I supposed to recognize that person?

Digital Gee 05-22-07 01:13 AM
