I'm about to go ride someone's age.

Just sayin.

That said, it's only 61 degrees and winds are gusting to 18 mph so it will probably be in honor of some teenager.

I like it.
It turns out that yesterday I rode my 21 y/o son's age while preriding the course for next Sunday's MTB race. I had a great ride too. I'm getting back to the point where I can really get into a groove carving my way through a twisty singletrack trail.

Just make sure you ride more than your Roubaix's age (in years).

You've painted up your lips
And rolled and curled your tinted hair
Roooby are you contemplating
Going out somewhere
The shadow on the wall
Tells me the sun is going down
Oh Roooby
Dont take your love to town

.
.
.
.

Shes leaving now cause
I just heard the slamming of the door
The way I know Ive heard it
Some 100 times before
And if I could move I'd get my gun
And put her in the ground
Oh Roooby
Dont take your love to town

Oh Roooby - for gods sake turn around

Sounds like Ruby-Boy has his own theme song.

Well, I'm back. You guys crack me up. Turns out I rode my youngest daughter's age (15). It threatened rain the whole way, but one learns that in San Diego, a threat like that is not to be taken seriously unless one hears there will be Team Coverage on the local news. Then we know a drizzle is headed our way.

By the way, I got dropped by a 20-something Frieda on an old pink Raleigh. She was wearing jeans, moccasins, a black sweater, and a yellow beret, and carrying a messenger bag. Had a iPod cord snaking out of a back pocket. Not that I was paying much attention. She was hot, I'll say that. I caught her at the next light, and pulled up behind her, and minded my own bidness. :D Light changed and she was gone in a flash. Good thing I'm not competitive. :)

I just rode 20 miles after work today in nasty wind. One more mile and I would have been legal.....

Sorry about your weather, that sucks. Bobby C and I and Mrs. Bobby did Bobby's "46 miles of hills" ride on Sunday in great weather, and I managed 42 today down to Mt. Vernon (yes, that Mt. Vernon) and back in maybe the most perfect riding day of the year. Clear, low humidity, 73 degrees, almost no wind and because it was Monday, not many people on the trails. I don't like to brag, but we so seldom get a day like this--unlike DG who has them about 60% of the time, I am told.

Speaking of women cyclists who are hot. I was driving through the student housing district south of campus on my way home, when a woman heading up the street passed me. She was dressed in black spandex, no other colors, no emblems. Tight, black spandex. Wow, what a body! I nearly wrecked.
