Strange rides?

Ok, I've taken the bike to the drive in window of the bank. The look on the tellers face was well worth the price of admission. Anyone else with a tale to tell?

I ride into the cleaners to pick up the shirts. The first time i did they were mostly concerned that I be able to get them home. They insisted in double-bagging them. Cool!

Finished a ride on the Tandem a few years ago and we were the only Tandem doing the event- The press wanted to get a photo of us getting our medals up on the Balcony with the Institute director- and could we take the tandem up for the photo. No problem so we carried the T up the steps to the balcony and plenty of pics taken- Then we had to get the T down. It is a tough old beastie so we just rode it back down the steps. Then we were asked to do it again as the Press did not get any pics of us going down the steps. We declined. Well, we had chanced it once and not fallen off and I do not believe in luck.

Often when I take the van to the dealership for service I'll take the bike. I would rather ride the country roads or do errands than sit in their waiting room. I've had a few stange looks when I come rolling into the service area on a bike.

We took our tandem through the drive up window the pharmacy once, no one said anything. Once before I had my bike and was still into horses, my girlfriend and I rode our horses through Ocean Beach and took them into the Jack in the Box parking lot, I held them while she went inside to order lunch. Then we continued our horse back ride through Ocean Beach to the river channel and the cops didn't say anything but the life guard told us we had to leave, so instead we rode them on the side walk over to where my parents lived a few miles away. Ocean Beach hadn't seen horses in their little community in probably 25 years or more. We did get a lot of looks from the locals.
