My, my, my, Miyata!

After a couple week delay (due to an influx of yard sale bikes and waiting for parts) I've built my [1990] Miyata. It's carbon fiber wrapped frame with aluminum lugs and stays. The crank is a Shimano 105 165mm. The gears are 39 x 17/17 freewheel/cog. I mounted Continental 4000 tires I got discounted online - they seem very nice without any miles logged . She weighs 17.4 lbs. I'll ride single speed to build up strength, and I will exchange the LOOK pedals for a set of MKS style w/traps. You may notice I installed full brakes and kept the bosses, etc. so the Miyata can be switched back to geared.
The saddle is comfortable up to 15 miles and light. I'll be putting it onto an upscale bike I'm building to finance my Paramount. I have a B17 Narrow black saddle ready to swap out. The upscale bike will be Al with a lot of carbon parts. All non carbon will be Ultegra or Dura-Ace. If the buyer wants to save money I'll swap out the 105 brakes of the Miyata for the Ultegra brakes.

Very clean. Kinda Stealth. I'm guessing radar won't pick it up.

Looks gorgeous! I'm contemplating buying a CT3000 right now myself. Having trouble deciding whether or not to pull the trigger, partially because I think the price is a bit high, but the bike is pretty much mint. Have you liked this one?

She's still one of my favorite bikes. I changed her back to geared with 9 speed DuraAce and a carbon bullhorn / aerobar / barcon / rerverse lever cockpit. I've built a couple of modern (2003 & 2010) full carbon fiber bikes and sold them. The Miyata is better.

My Miata is red, has silver alloy wheels, and weighs 2100 lbs. The seat is comfortable for a lot more than 15 miles.

If we were next to each other on/in our Miata's, you would tower over me. Last Fall I had a male deer turn to face me in the middle of the road, snort, lower its head, and cause me to start to back up.

I got my tires discounted online too.

Nice build you have done. You should like the Conti 4000 tires. I had them on my 'Dale R500 and loved them. Now riding Michelins.

Awesome. I'm getting closer to making the choice, especially since the seller said they'd discount the price a little. Nice to hear from someone who has one that it's a good bike, as you hear some mixed reviews based on the old-carbon haters out there.
