Mr. Bombadil, Sir, please explain yourself.

What's the backstory on that new avatar? My eyes hurt from squinting to try to figure it out. 'Splain, por favor.

Just something I stole from someone else. I thought it kinda fit me. I'm as slow as a caterpillar and I like to walk in the rain. The alternate meaning is that "So what, I'm slow. Don't rain on my parade!"

I probably won't keep it long. Just trying it on for size.

A test ride, so to speak.

Avatars should never be stolen from someone else. That's like trying to steal their soul. Just say no, Tom. Just say no.

Bombadil sounds like the name of a performance enhancing drug marketed in Switzerland. It's probably legal in that country.

That's MUCH better. I'd have never recognized a caterpillar carrying an umbrella riding on the trail as Tom Bombadil. Now when I see someone in that winged helmet riding towards me, why I'll know right away it's YOU!

+1

And if he had been off the bike along the trail we might have run over the caterpillar

I agree. The winged warrior helmet thing seems to fit better.
