I've never watched it. So that's where that "just sayin'" schtick came from?

So that's where that comes from.... now that you've said that I can hear Tony saying it with the NJ accent.... "I'm just sayin'....."

I watch it.... but don't tell anyone, the subject matter disturbs me, but the acting is astoundingly good.

After this Sunday, I may sell my TV. I won't really have a good reason to have one anymore. Just sayin'.

Now that that is cleared up, I'd like to know where +1 comes from and what does it mean?

+1 is a way of supporting a statement or opinion in a previous post. Sometimes it comes as +1000 or other numbers to indicate high support.

+2 sometimes means the second post of support.

Hijacker! You must be a mole, working for Phil's NY crew. You'd better get your alliegences in line. You'll want to be standing on the right side when the whacking starts.
I'm just sayin'. Hey, whattaya gonna do?

My daughter will be getting her own apartment this summer, if the plan unfolds properly. I'm thinking of giving her my TV. Other than using it to raise my blood pressure at the insanity of wall to wall coverage of Paris Hilton, it's not much use.

What about "word"? I never did get that one. Is it the same as +1?

Someone clue me in! Or is it too late?

My teenage daughter used to say "word" all the time and she refused to tell me what it meant, probably figuring I'd start using it and sound like an idiot. But she always seemed happy when she said it. Like, if I said "Here's the car keys, you drive." She would respond, "Word!" and smile.

Word - well said, said in agreement

My granddaughters use it, too. This site is a great source for understanding their language

I can't even get some of you to understand The Queens English sometimes and now you tell me there is a NEW language floating about!!!

Thats it- get me to the home where when I swear at some-one- they will know what I am saying.

Sopranos are over here but never watched it. Load of overweight, loud mouthed, Oldies throwing their weight around. I'd much rather stay and read the 50+ forum for enjoyment. Far more exciting.

If you had watched it, you would have seen what is in my opinion the best written, best acted, most absorbing series that has ever been on television. Every character is so despicable that you can't imagine that you could care about them, but you do. I can't wait to see how the final episode turns out tomorrow - but I know I'm going to miss having new episodes to look forward to. It will leave such an empty spot in my life that I may need to build a new bike!
