zoning out

I get to riding and maybe once a ride while I am struggling along I am brought back out of the zone when I notice a druel coming from the corner of my mouth. I wipe my face and I am good for the rest of the trip. I don't think that I am very level headed because it usually come out of the left side of my mouth. Now I will have to work on my balance and riding technique to see if I can get it dripping from both sides at the same time.

Right side drooler here too. Cannot claim to wipe it once and be good for the rest of the trip though, I have to kind of sip it back in now and then. Is this an age thing, I don't remember drooling through my thirties?

I just thought those were tears coming from my eyes from the pain-or the sheer joy of riding. Once again I've learned something.

I only drool when I look at some of the bikes that are appearing on the forum.

My left side drool has to be because my rear view mirror is on the left side and this is causing my head to tilt. Now you know how tired I am when riding. It just takes too much energy to hold up the mirror and all the extra wind drag on the mirror is trying to turn my head causing neck cramps. I may have to give up on the mirror is this keeps up.

Why can't you see the obvious solution to your problem? Put a second mirror on the right side and you will be centered and happy again. Plus, a stereo-optic view behind you.

I may have to give this a try. But I can see either a jammed neck from all the wind pressure or maybe a broken neck if I get hit with a crosswind. A headwind would probably push me backwards but man it would be like a sail ship with a tailwind. I could just keep my mouth closed but then I would not get to taste all the different kinds of bugs and flies. Who needs protein drinks with all the free food in the air?

Sort of like free flying bait shop vending machine material eh Jim? You and TWL seem to be cut from similar cloth. Say, you're not really from Kentucky are you?

I am not from Kentucky. Kentucky is a high class place with the blue grass and horse racing. I am from Alabama and I am out in the sticks so far that I have to walk 1/2 mile to get to some paving where I can ride.
