Rode my age (and a little better) today
Set out this morning to ride a 50 mile loop, and rode 3 miles to get to the start. Well I figured with the 3 miles back that would come to 56, but hell in 3 months I'll be 57, so I rambled around a bit and got home with 57.6 miles on the odometer! No wheres that pie. Oh no, no pie!

In my world, you get pie after every 100 miles.
It sounds like you could pretty much ride your age anything you want, if you can just set out anytime to do a 50 mile loop.

I set out yesterday to break 1/2 a century and not only did I break it, but also rode my age and even broke the 60 barrier. If 60 is doable, I think I can see my first century before summer is over. I know I'll go for a pie or two after that. Congrats to you my friend.

Forget the pie. There wasn't even any beer in the fridge when I got home. Actually I was happy to just stretch, sit and wolf down some ibuprofen. I won't say how long it took to do those miles, but any slower and my average mph would have been in single digits.
