All rides go up hill
Face always against the wind
Why do I do this?

I ride in Nature
At one with all God's creatures
Especially road kill

There is a bike, green
Its call though quiet, compels
ride, ride, ride me more

To ride in the night
Fail to see how high the hill
A simple pleasure

When Big Paulie says,
"There shall be no more haiku!"
We laugh right out loud.

Riding gives me peace.
Yet life keeps me from riding.
Where is the justice?

Is 50+ the end?
Many years to go, things to do
A new beginning

Throwin' down the pen!
I'm sick of this paperwork!
My heart needs a break.

Life may be on hold,
but healing must continue.
Going for a ride.

It might be too hot
but then again, maybe not
Will I sweat too much?

Found a definition of haiku. My appologies for being too dumb to participate.

Between the criticism of Big Paulie of not following the rules of haiku and
not being a proper "etymological tradtionalist" according to SaiKaiTai,
I don't think I fit in here too good.

Adios.

Happy riding.

You have such great potential.
We want your Haiku.

Far too old to know better
