The Redhead down the street....
So all (or most) of our neighbors know of our cycling addictions by now, and no doubt many of us assist said neighbors with basic maintainance and repairs. Some may have even convinced a neighbor or a friend to get involved in cycling. So far, all seems pretty normal.
So why is it that when a nice lady from down the street mentions during a visit with the bride and myself that she's got an old bike and she'ld like an opportunity to ride our neighborhood MUP with us this year, my most prominent thought is,"Golly, there's a bike in the neighborhood that I wasn't aware of and I can't wait to see it"? So am I just a non-social person or is this a normal bike-aholic reaction?

I think so, it's always nice to see a new bike come by my house and they stop and chat.

Everyone, well most everyone, enjoys getting a bike back on the road. Just make sure her favorite show is not "Desperate Housewifes".

Please don't get the wrong idea here, our marriage is 32+ yrs. strong and I've no desire or reason to stray.....but shouldn't I at least be interested?
Oh, I didn't mention she teased me a little with "It's just a red Old Ladies type bike with a wide seat that I've had for a long time". Now I'm thinking VINTAGE, TANK, 50's, CHROME, oh how my mind can wonder at times......

If the redhead looks like this and all you can think about is the bike, then I am worried about you
