Taking Grandson to First Bike Event
This should be fun. On Fathers Day, Natick, MA is holding the Tour de Natick for the 4th year. It includes a 25-mile ride that starts at 8:00 and a 6-mile Family ride that starts at 11:00. I have signed up to do the 25-miler and then the family ride with my 6 year old grandson, Noah. He will get a tee-shirt, ribbon, and free lunch. My daughter says he is so excited that he keeps telling everyone him and his papa are racing to Boston. How funny is that. I can't wait, it should be alot of fun.
What a great thing for a 6-year old though. We have come a long way in some respects. When I was six all I heard was "stop bothering us and get outside"

Sounds like a great day. Enjoy them while you can....they soon grow up and start driving cars instead of riding bikes with their grandparents

You'll both have a wonderful time, I just know it. Riding with my grandsons is one of the great pleasures of my life.
