I passed a pro

It was a couple of years ago, up in Santa Barbara County. The rider was none other than Geroge Hincapie. He was presumably up there training with the US Postal Squad. I knew it was him because of his white sunglasses.
Of course, we were going in opposite directions. A reasonable facsimile... |
When I first saw the title to this thread I thought we were in trouble.
I was pretty disappointed in the actual story.
Imagine how disappointed I feel...about my entire life!!!

White sunglasses? That wasn't Hincapie, that was me in my Postal jersey from Nashbar. You shoulda waved.
This morning on our ride I saw a cyclist on the other side of the street who was wearing white sunglasses. I thought "White sunglasses???"
I passed Lance Armstrong once. I rounded a curve and there he was. I dialed it up to about 400 watts and passed him like he was standing still. I didn't give him the look. I was driving the SAG wagon.
