groom me for the 50+ club please

I apologize for intruding but I really want to know something.

I'm going to be 45 in a couple of weeks. Is there a 50+ training program I can work on for the next 5 years?

I want to be ready. What's the next step?

You are already 50% there. When you lose the other half of your brain, you made it.

Anyone who regularly does the Copper Triangle and preps for the Triple ByPass - well, I just don't know - except that jppe might give you a lesson or two. See ya in 5 years!

You could always sneak in and see what's going on. I wish I could loan you the 5 years but no credit is allowed in in this forum unless approved by Denver Fox.

Five years gives you plenty of time to improve that avatar. If you ask nicely, Tom Bombadil could coach you on that. He's done plenty of them.

but you are posting about "improve" and you have a poll about whether this one is better.

NOT. Go back to the old avatar.

You'll need progressive addition glasses or drugstore reading glasses soon - figure out what to do about wearing them while riding. Do you really need to see the numbers on the cyclometer?

Here is a picture of Telenick, his wife, Shifty and some others when we all went to the Santa Fe Century together a few years back. He is the one with the hat.

"Groomed" and "50+ club" is a contradiction in terms. Anyone who wanders into this hole-in-the-wall is an automatic member as far as I am concerned.

Allow pop-ups on the Computer- Don't know what it means but worked for me.

Now as to allowing Telenick in- He is too self conscious and looks too young from the photo. Wearing a hat to disguise his Golden locks?- Or his bald patch?

I think it is the mental aspect he has to work on-Doesn't matter how good he looks- Hats are only to be worn to stop the sunburn on the bald patch. No bald patch- Then get one.
