What's cooking? Surprise!

Hermes and I had a good laugh this evening. We moved into our home 14 months ago - has a great kitchen with a brand new Viking Professional oven which until this evening remained "virgin." (Hermes tells everyone that is a great place to hide my Christmas present.) Tonight we christened the oven by warming a pair of insoles at 200 degrees for 2 minutes to fit my new white Sidi Genius 6.6 carbon cycling shoes. My recipe for filet of sole. Not very tasty, but the shoes are hot! Better than any pair of Manolo Blahniks or Christian Louboutins (OK. only you metrosexual guys will get this.)

Note to self: Accept going to dinner with Hermes and Velodiva, but have headache if invited to dinner at their house.

If you feel guilty about wasting such a fine piece of equipment and want to send it to somewhere that it's purpose will be realized, ... (just sayin')

I have a microwave that was specifically bought for Gardening use. Sterilizes soil for potting compost a treat. I had to buy it as I am banned from using the kitchen after Putting a Barrel from an engine in the oven to remove the liner.
