What's with this board lately?

Frequent timeouts ("too busy or unreachable try again later")
Looooong delays in posting... just a whole raft of performance and reliability issues
Very frustrating

Now he tells me- For the last few days- I have virus checked- Pulled all the leads out and cleaned them- Checked for trojans- reset the Modem- checked Bradband and just upgraded my connection to 8 meg. Looked all over the settings to see what has changed

Now you tell me it may not be my computer at fault.

For me, just the usual glitches.......Joe's server, I think it sits on his kitchen counter next to the hamster cages, sometimes gets toasted...just like me on a hard day.

I have had no problems either, and I have been here more than usual lately.

No problems other than the one "upgrading the system, go ride your bike" message.

It may be your spot in the internet or your ISP. I'm getting crisp consistent performance in Houston, Texas over comcast cable connection.

I noticed it too. They "upgraded" the software a couple of days ago. I'm not thinking everything is debugged yet.

I've hit slowdowns at least 4 times in the past 3 days. On two different computers using two different high-speed connections ... one of them a 100 megabit connection.

The board had similar problems for a spell about 5-6 months ago.

Given that this have followed a software update, they are probably shaking some of the bugs out and retuning system parameters.

Tom, you can do better than that! I was expecting a graph with monthy performance time tests and hourly speed test results...

But you're on now. How is the quest for a new bike going? When the bug bites, it's quiet severe, isn't it?

"Get on" what this morning, George? No, on second thought, you don't owe us an explanation.

I got to take a break. I was on line half the night comparing bikes and the more I do it I get more confused. I did take the Cannondale Synapse, the one with the carbon stays and fork out, and compared to what I have, no dice.
