Anyone doing the 2007 Summit to Surf?
Anyone on the forum planning on doing the 2007 Summit to Surf in Portland, Oregon next week? I did it last year, and it was so good, that I am doing it again this year, though I hope with more style.

Sounds interesting. Where does it go?
I've done two Hood-to-Coast Relays (running) and had a blast. Excellent combination of logistics, sleep-deprivation and utter exhaustion

On a more serious note.
This is one really beautiful and challenging ride, though it was the slowest century I have ever done. The almost 10,000 feet of climbing and if the weather is like last year, cold at Timberline and really hot and windy in the Gorge, really make for an epic adventure.
If you are watching the Tour on TV, and live in the Northwest, this is an opportunity for an experience like the boys in the French Alps without the expensive travel to Europe.
