Riding with the dog behind me in his trailer. By cripes you stop quickly when you forget how wide that trailer is and go too close to a post or building

glad he bought a trailer with a steel frame

A couple of years ago I was on a bike path going down a hill moving in the high 20s, hands on the top of the bars with a relaxed grip. The path had a big heave over a drain pipe - the bars poped out of my hands and the bike rolled. Luckily the bike suffered only minor damage - I however limped away with a partial shoulder dislocation. This was my first crash since 1963 when I hit a car - I still have that scar too.
