Clouds!!

Even to the surprise of the weatherman we have a good cloud cover over our area today. First "non-direct sunlight" day in weeks. Temps are still going to be in the high 90's and any rain we might see will not put a dent into the severe drought we're seeing. A cold front is coming through that is going to drop the highs from the 100's to the low 90's.

I was asking for hot weather a while back and my wishes were answered for sure.........

Hate to say it but what we really need is a tropical storm to hover over the Carolinas.........oh no, don't go wishing for that!!!

Tropical storm- Wish we could get that. All we have is torrential downpours in certain parts of the Country or threats of plenty of rain but all we get in the south east is a bit of drizzle in high wind. You know the kind- The sort that gets you wet and you stay wet. Not too many years ago and we would have a good old fashioned downpour on a hot summer day and it was beautiful. 80deg temp and enough rain to cool you down and wash the dust away. Then the nice bit of riding in rapidly drying clothes.
