Should there be a 50+ OT subforum?
And, if so, what should it be called?
Try to find something wrong with how this* poll is broken down, you nay-sayers and hooligans.

There's no "maybe."

Yeah, but then we'd have to add "maybe not" and the whole voting procedure would be less decisive!

I'm confused...not sure what to vote (yes or no). I like the wisdom and
acceptance of the 50+ forum. I don't like the sarcasm and sometimes
mean spirited conversation I've encounted in some of the other forums.
I do not wish to search through the drivvel of Foo to share life experiences
with other 50+ folks who also enjoy cycling. I'm just getting to feel like a
member of this group and I would hate for our threads to start getting
scattered about.
I guess I would prefer our posts stay easily accessable, if that means
we need a 50+ subforum then so be it.....otherwise, leave the threads
by 50+'ers in the 50+ forum.
Just my opinion.....

"Yes", but keep it in the main 50+ forum, at the top where the stickies are.

In the true spirit of 50+ crankiness: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. But, more seriously, for what purpose? I would hate to see a division of purely bike and "foo". What's cool about here is the nice blending of bikes and real life-- iintegrating riding with daily living is what we're all about.

It does seem dumb, I agree. How often have they moved stuff to Foo? If these two cases were the first time in months, then maybe it's not such a big deal. Disturbing, but not such a big deal...

There isn't an option that will please everyone.

By sorted, do you mean seeing that they remain off-topic in the sub-forum, and on-topic in the main forum? Alphabetically by topic or poster ?

I'd like to change my vote from yes to no. Maybe.
If there were an OT subforum within the 50+ forum, I'd still read all the posts, so what's the point anyway? If it's in lieu of having all the posts moved to Foo or somewhere else, then I would opt for the 50+ OT subforum. What is a foo anyway? I always thought it was for way way off topic wacky posts about politics, religion, and such.
On third thought, by the time these posts are moved they are pretty well worn out, so it doesn't matter all that much - keep the status quo!

I voted yes to tie the results. But in true Democratic fashion I have no idea what I voted for.

Not for me, but only because time contraints would make it hard to be involved - cripes, I'm marginal as it is with the main forum.
