The Dream 50 Plus BF Poster

Let's create the "perfect" 50 Plus poster.

Some things like:

Age
Weight
Height
Sex
"Orientation"
General Appearance
Income
Family Status
Bike's Owned
Monthly Milage
Career
Clipless?
Bike color(s)?

Etc...

Monthly Milage Milage doesn't matter- providing that when Gary turns up out of the blue- He has enough fitness to join him on the 100 miler up the mountains

Age 50+

Weight, weight, don't tell me...

Height of wisdom.

Sex only with the willing.

"Orientation" Should absolutely know the best side of a north facing horse is on the north.

General Appearance requires all enlisted men to stand at attention, just as any other officer.

Income commensurate with skills and experience.

Family Status should be known by the individual. Names of all immediate family members should be known with little or no prompting and minimal usage of notes.

Bike's Owned or even better, member owned by bikes.

Monthly Milage or kilometerage depending on country or origin.

Career the more bohemian the better... sandal inspector, macrame artist etc. will be given top ratings.

Etc... Extra points given for the most loving memories of the most mundane moments about a bicyle, and the ability to compose messages about these mundane moments that would bore avid readers to tears. But, we will all avidly read them because we are all hooked, and care about each other, even though most of us have never met, and never will...

Bo Derek is now 51. She would be the ideal over 50 poster. Especially if she included photos.

Mel Gibson is 51, too. I'd rather see photos of him.

But what about the bikes?

Certainly a perfect poster would have a Wright Van Cleve as the jewel in their collection. I'm not sure if they came in white though.

You won't believe me, but I actually pushed Kim Basinger around a parking lot in Braselton, GA while she sat side saddle on my Bridgestone. It was the '92 Bike Ride Across Georgia. She had recently bought most of the town and was greeting riders as we came through her town. My crew stopped and started talking to her. When she asked "Where's my bike? I want to ride", I quickly rolled my bike forward and said "hop on". She was wearing a dress and couldn't straddle the bike, so she sat on the top tube and I pushed her around.
That was the last time I ever rode a day of BRAG without a camera on my bike.

You don't want to see her without makeup and with her schizo Greyhounds. Cgallagh can say more. I'm just sayin'.

You may want to pick a number between 3-7 if you see her in her element.
