Came just in time for my afternoon ride!
Lookin' good, DG.

Mine was waiting for me when I arrived home after the Monday night ride. I hope to get pictures this weekend.

I tried out my 50 Plus Jersey yesterday afternoon on a short (31 mile) ride from home to Seal Beach and back. Very comfortable, great fit, easy to reach the jersey pockets . . . it's all good! No photos (lucky for all of you!) but I did wear my club shorts (black and red) and some really short white socks.

The bike? Oh, that was my old ('77) Masi that I've converted to single speed (freewheel, not fixie) 16 x 42.

What a cop out!

I don't want jersey reports, I want pictures!

The color of the bike is a med.burgundy (re-painted by Medici in '82) with yellow decals. So yeah, the burgundy does clash with the bright red; sorry about that! The MASI was originally black, which would have worked much better with the 50+ jersey, but I didn't forsee that back in '82, when I had it painted!

Well, what a fine bunch of cowards you all are!

I'd better see a LOT more 50+ jersey photos after this weekend.
Really, now...

You will. I didn't see much point in taking a picture of the jersey until I get a chance to ride while wearing it.

I'll be wearing my bikeforums 50 Plus jersey on the Tour de Poway this Sunday, and they advertise "Free Photo from Photo-Crazy" as part of the registration fee (so I guess its not really free, so no surprise there) and if it is digitally do-able (by a computer-klutz like me), I will post that here on Monday.

Mine showed up the day after my century ride (good thing since I fell and put a hole in the side of the jersey I wore) I don't know why anyone wants to see pictures of folks built like I am anyway but here goes:
Oh and I'm to lazy to edit this down so you can just check the link

Well as wide as I am I do make a good windscreen Some rotten wheelsucker on a ti frame bike just did that to me last Sunday on the century.

But I was just riding home from yoga so I'm darn sure there were no snacks! In fact I'm pretty sure I was riding to the snacks

Went out for the DC monument tour this morning to get some photos of my new jersey. Notice the nice color coordination with my helmet, bike and pack. I don't think a six pack is in my future but you need one with a tight jersey like this. One old guy did say "cool shirt."

Trying to attach photo . . . see if this works. Taken at Checkpoint 2, Tour de Poway, Poway CA 10-1-2007.

Okay, well . . . doesn't come up automatically (must have done something wrong!), but at least you can click on it and see it.

Thanks for trying SaiKaiTai,

I'm not very computer savvy, but I followed the directions (I think), but still didn't work. The first time I tried I got an error messge that the photo was too large. So I went to PhotoShop / Image Size and reduced it by about half, then posted it with the result you see above. I'm totally clueless about what I did wrong!

If you want to see the original photo, go to Regional Forums: Southern CA and click on the Tour de Poway Reports. That's where I got the photo, and if it was not too large to post there, why was it too large to post here? I don't get it, but whatever, at least it's "clickable."

Goatee without it being a full white beard and even the Thing in his hand is not really worth eating. Far to small to give enough carbs for the rest of the ride

Actually stapfam,

It was mostly eaten by the time the photo was taken (cinnamon raisin bun with strawberry jam)!

And in any case, it would just be enough to get me to the next checkpoint, not the rest of the ride! And yes, my goatee is mostly (but not totally!) white. Good to hear the photo is at least click-able.
