Nothing wrong with your outfit, TWL.
I browsed some of the other pictures on the website and found a few who weren't even dressed in cycling clothes.

Seriously, my biggest single problem, I think, is relaxing my shoulders and arms. Does my bike look like it needs to be tweaked, or is that just something I'll need to work on?

Looks like you couldn't decide whether you are a U of L or U of K fan on that day. Don't feel too bad about it though, lots of folks around here are having problems with that now!

I'm with this. I work at Wisconsin, where everyone wears Badger Red. But I hate red on me. I think the stadium with everyone decked out in red looks great.

TWL, just grow that beard a little longer, get that belly a little bigger, and get on a recumbent like mine ................ and you'll REALLY look like a geek.
Nice photo, btw.

By the sound of it, you did authorize the photo? You just question do certain items of clothing, etc match for a professional photo. If I did not authorize it, not sure I'd be happy for someone to snap my photo on a bike and then publish it. ? Other than that, most of us look far dorkier than that, most of the time . You look ok. Decent form.

[QUOTE I have legs that are probably one or two inches shorter than should be for my trunk size[/QUOTE]
That's true, TWL does have short legs-if they were an inch or so shorter, his feet probably wouldn't reach the ground!! (but I shouldn't make fun of it-he can leave me in the dust on a bike!!) And SKT-any way you could post your pic beside TWL's (I'm no good at posting pics or would try to "import" one into a post, would make a great pic)--maybe you two are twins sons of different mothers!

I pulled up the commercial photo taken of me this Sunday. If the link works, it is here: https://www.photoreflect.com/pr3/Orde...0290&po=290&c=
This photo is wrong on so many levels I don't know where to begin:
1) My bike is half white.
2) My water bottles don't match.
3) I'm using a helmet-mounted mirror.
4) I look just like SKT.
I don't consider #4 to be a problem, really. It lets me serve as his stunt double when he submits 'his" pictures of 'him" mountain biking.
Anyway,
5) The blue jersey clashes violently with my red everything else.
I think I own Kentuckiana an apology.
Timing, as they say, is everything. One day later my "over 50" jersey arrived. It would have matched everything else perfectly. Would that have been cool or what?
So, the take-home message is this: order your jersey now. If you don't, you will surely regret it.

Man, I don't belong in this forum. I look WAY cooler. Hey, wait a second, waddaya mean I don't? Do I really look like that? I look alot more like Lance. If he was 40 pounds heavier. And 20 years older. And 20 mph slower.

E-mail the photographer and get him/her to convert it to a nice black and white for you. It'll look great. Not everything needs to be in color all the time...
In fact, a very grainy black and white conversion would look really cool.
