Something's come over me...
 

I dunno if it was because of reading the post on commuter bikes or who knows what, but I'm going to take the Cypress out to play this afternoon, after an absence of over 1,000 miles.

Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that my DD just called and announced she's (finally!) gotten a job as a hostess in a very well known restaurant here. You may remember she's the one who has had a bit of car trouble recently. :D

But I can't imagine what that has to do with switching bikes for the afternoon. Maybe there's a link, and I just forgot what it is?

You know she is going to have to get to work one way or the other and you know the Cypress is a far superior commuter bike to that other one you have, (I forget what kind of bike it is, actually) and you are having sympathy pains. Or something.

I'm glad to hear it. I've been worried about how your lack of love has been depressing your Cypress.

Every now and again I wonder how my first girlfriend is doing, and I sometimes wonder how my first wife is doing. Your sudden desire makes perfect sense to me. When you love, but move on to a new love, you can't erase all the memories of the good times with the earlier loves.

But it's a lot safer to go for a ride on your first bike.
