The one that (re)started it all for me... sadly out of commish right now and for the foreseeable future.
I've loved every one of the 1500 or so miles I've put on it to date.

BTW, didn't you get the memo? BLUE is the new black (plus, it's well-documented that blue is the fastest):

Doesn't get nearly the use these days that it deserves, but here's mine. (I was practicing becoming one with the bike...)

And the one that started it all for me:

My first bicycle was a black mid-1950s 2-speed Schwinn middleweight. My 12-speed hybrid conversion (S-A 3-speed with 14-16-18-20 cogset) was a black Armstrong. The closest thing I have now is my charcoal / metallic brown Bianchi.

Here's a couple I ride frequently.. both fold and fit in the trunk of my Alfa Romeo..

Dahon Jetstream XP .. most obvious mods are to the gearing.. 8spd Shimano premium Nexus hub, Schlumpf SpeedDrive 2spd crank.. overall gear range is over 500%

My newest addition... Pacific Cycle's Reach for the Road .... rolling on 451mm wheels, Capreo 9/26 cluster 53/39 crank, trailing link front suspension, elastomer rear shock, under 22lbs.

Now we're talking! Here's the stock model of my Giant Cypress SX. I've replaced the seat and tires and put the bars a little lower so my reach is closer to me. I also removed the toe clips.

I was beginning to feel left out of this as The Boreas is Gold and the Bianchi is Celeste so I was going to Poke two fingers at you and sulk- So heres the pics of the bikes and there is a Black one there- The one that I only take at night now so it blends into the background. And the "T" is not normally this colour as this was a dry day.

My wife just purchased an Armstrong S-A 3-Speed (mixte frame), and yes, . . . it's black! Sorry I don't have a photo of it yet, but what is the history of the Armstrong bike brand? Long before Lance, I'm sure, but as a bike brand it's totally unknown to me.

Hmmm. I always thought the head tube was the one in the front. Obviously I was wrong.
