50+ Jersey Pics

Curtis,
You asked for it and here it is. I hope others join in. Don't look at the ugly old guy on the right. The woman on the left (Red Rider in all her glory) is a contender for the 50+ jersey model

You're correct. She is much better looking than you!

Curtis, et. al.

Here is a shot of the jersey in the central Texas hill country sunshine. Ignore the guy squinting looking into the sun.

Now I wish I had purchased a jersey. And while the OP might be able to wear it proudly I am calling foul on the stoker. No way she is chronologically qualified to wear the jersey.

Thank you, you sweet talker! You can be my new best friend.

Truth be told, I just celebrated the 3rd anniversary of my 50th birthday. Thank you, Cap'n Chris and tandem and moisturizer, and I'll keep the rest of the world guessing, too.

Here's mine
Arrived about 2pm on the 22 November - that's today (for those confused by the date line, just check the date of posting this image).

Sorry Curtis, I was going to get this photo taken with me standing on my head but when it came to trying it, cowardice proved to be the better part of valour. I'm also very glad I didn't go for the smaller size - 'tis a tight fit, but that's okay, I'm supposed to be losing weight and eventually it'll be right.

Temp of 35 and with a wind chill factor that made it Brrrrrrh. Down to the LBs for some new tyres for the Ultegra wheels and PR2's again. They seem to work for me and all the other tyres were heavier and classed as a Winter tyre or puncture resistant or were not a make I like. Stay with what you Know. Still cold but down to the cafe for Hot Sticky Toffee and Fudge Pudding. Not pie but I really fancied this one. Back on the bike up the MUP and it was getteing colder. Met a couple of friends I know who obliged with the camera and it was just getting dark as I got home and a temp of 30 so glad it was not a long ride.

"Still cold but down to the cafe for Hot Sticky Toffee and Fudge Pudding."

That looks really good and wicked bad. You would have to go for a long ride to work that one off.

Brrrrrrr..... Please tell me you didn't ride with those bare legs. I would be freezing without something to cover mine

I'll be heading out in an hour for the breakfast ride and it should be around 30F but no snow.

Here's one with my first outing with the 50+ jersey. We had great weather (albeit a bit breezy) today. Missed yesterday which was even better.

Thanks again Curtis!

This time of year if we want to ride we have no choice and I don't think tough would be the correct choice of words - I still had a couple more layers to go!
