Tom, what's the name of the bike...

that starts with "M" and comes with an internal three speed hub, and is promoted as an urban, commuter, errand bike that is a gorgeous tan and cream color, with fenders and rack already installed, and handlebars that remind one of North Bars? It listed at about $700.

I saw one in the LBS the other day and can't remember what it's called. Two syllables, I think.

Really pretty bike that I can't justify but sure wanted to!

The two nice commuters that spring to my mind are the Bianchi Milano and the Electra Amsterdam. If it isn't one of those, then I'll have to think a little harder.

Bianchi also has the Bergamo commuter and Electra has a Townie Commuter.

Cannondale and Schwinn have nice "street" bikes that are similar.

Miyata? Not a common bike to find.

Biria, er, ah, make that MBiria.

Outside of that I can think of only major brands like Trek & Kona that make commuter-type bikes, in addition to what I've already mentioned.

There are some European commuter brands that are little known in the states. Sometimes a bike shop picks them up.

This may have been it, although this one shows no fenders or rack.

Color is about right though.

I've never heard of a Masi commuter bike. That's a rare one. They don't even have it on their own web pages.

That leather saddle shown on the blogspot looks identical to the no-name import I've got on my Bridgestone.

Italian-made, 20 pound Masi singlespeed commuter couldn't cost very much, could it?
