Naw- I've always been a grumpy old git.

With a pic like that- what made you think of white rabbits- Donkey would have been more appropriate.

I've got a grandson who looks older than the dad so no, if I was ever that young I don't remember. And I'm talking about the parents.

It took me a few years to discover the joy of transport without the internal combustion engine. (This picture should embarrass my family!)

Taken on my grandfather's farm circa 1955.

I have no pictures of me on a bike. I do, however, have a photo of the giant Schwinn my aunt taught me to ride on at age 5. But here's what I did, all day and every day when I was a girl. No dolls for me, thankyou! I caught these two off the dock within 10 minutes of each other using an old stick with either corn or a worm on the end. I had a bamboo pole, but it was too long for me. Note that even at a young age I knew to hold my arms closer to the camera! But they were* big fish, especially when you're used to catching crappies and sunnies!

I'd say, based on only having two giant teeth, that I was 6 or 7. I should really post my pics from when I was Midwinter Queen, just to provide a counterpoint. All the photos I post to BF are extremely tomboyish.

This would have been about 1947 or 48. I got the good looks, my brother got the bike.
