No snow go

Drat,

After preparing my electric assist snow bike with studded tires - I don't get to try it today with our first real snow storm. I broke the cable while installing the snow tires & had it set up in 3rd gear temporarily. I was still game to try today but....

Yesterday I could not get the Dawes frame I'm sending to a BF member shipped & the ex coworker didn't show up with my Schwin Premis. I'm carless next week (daughter wrecked van - wife gets my sedan) so today and Friday are car commute days.

I sense a miserable traffic jam getting home!

Cough, cough.....uhhhhh, I need a couple of days off. I'll be back
in on Monday.

You only do that on the days when you can enjoy the ride. In the winter it's cos you want a day off.

Maybe your uncle could die. When I was working I think my uncle died 3 times.:p

Rob,

Looking out my window, I don't think it will be a big traffic jam. The roads are clear, and the snow has nearly stopped. Cars should work perfectly well today.

Yeah, cars are fine, but I rode my bike in this morning. I think I'm leaving early and hitching a ride home with a coworker who can haul my bike in his pickup truck.
