Help ascertaining year model of my C'dale
I got my R500T on ebay, no complaints and it is for all intents and purposes as new. Looking at Bike-pedia the 1997 seems to be correct for a 500T in Blue. The seller listed it as a 1999 and I just want to know for sure. Checking the components everything matches up and it does not show any sign in being a repaint. On the bottom bracket shell of the frame the following appears:HE B1-0303-14169

The bike is in my signature and avatar, as shown on ebay. Not wanting to complain, I love the bike, just want to make sure.

Posting on the road forum with the frame number may help in that someione may know how to check the age to frame.
But as you say- it is immaterial as the bike works and you like it.

I fixed the signature but I doubt it is large enough.
and I edited the serial number when I got the cable guide moved.
