Howdy from Fort Worth, Tx.
Newbie to the forum:
We bought an Electra Townie 3. Just got married and wuz lookin' at the wedding video. Me 'n the T-Rex decided to do something about exercise. Low impact, good fun and great adventure. I'm retired military and she will be retired in about five years. We have a country place in the Cross Timbers of Texas. We've both re-discovered the joys of bicycling. We hope to be a fixture in the future on this forum.
I'm in to cycling, music (guitar/songwriting), astronomy, history and statistics.
T-Rex is in to sewing, quilting, knitting, spinning and BS (a relative of statistics).

Welcome to the maddhouse. We've needed another stats person here for a long time to preserve objectivity.
Its too late to back out now anyway.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy. You'll find a lot of interesting things here. I wonder if it is as windy up there as it is down here in Katy.

A Ft Worth couple! I grew up between Bridgeport and Jacksboro close to Vineyard and have a close friend living in Graham who is a retired geologist and his wife is a Judge.
Welcome to BF and back to bicycles. You and bent should get together for dinner down in the Stock Yards.

Howdy and welcome. I'm a knitter, too! And I have to ask: How did your wife come to be known as T Rex? Like the dinosaur or the 70's band?

Newly wed and you call your wife T-Rex? A brave man you are. Perhaps explains why you are newly wed at military retirement age?
