El Pantera

The joys of Mexican television. I turned on the set to discover a scene where a bicyclist is pursuing the bad guy who is driving. The bicyclist is on the driver's side and they are having a fist fight while the bicyclist pursues the driver. The cyclist lands a good one on the driver, who loses control and the car swerves, knocking away the cyclist, but as the driver tries to turn away, he drives straight into a whole mess of awaiting police cars. As the bad guy is taken away, the cyclist meets up again with the beautiful woman who had been a passenger in the car.

The show was called El Pantera.

I love these "True to Life" scenarios on the TV.

Can't see it being a Road bike with having to take a hand off the bars and still be in control. Now the important bit-Was it a mountain bike or a Hybrid?

Can see the sales of that model going up if the rider managed to catch a car.

That was the brilliant part, they shot it from inside the car, so you couldn't really tell what he was riding but you could see he was hunched over and his legs were pedaling along.

Last week, just a few blocks from my home, a bicyclist robbed a Suntrust Bank. Far as I know, he's still on the loose. If he's a member of the BF, maybe he could tell us his story?
