Bianchi Redux

Because of the recent postings here on 50+ of some very cool older bikes (and some very cool newer bikes), I was inspired to brag about the Bianchi I built in the fall of '06. This was posted here over a year ago, so the newer members haven't seen it.
Since the shooting of these pics I have added a shiny new silver Mavic Open Pro wheelset to replace the Matrix wheels shown in the pics.

Sweet. Love the downtube shifters. And the lugged steel frame. And the celeste. And everything.

Great job; that is a nice-looking bike. Nice mix of old and new parts.

Very sweet. Are there any women who build bikes in this forum? Or is it just a guy thing? Sure looks like fun.

Thanks.

I hope it's not still just a guy thing. I would like to think we've progressed beyond that point.

Try reading over at the Classic and Vintage forum. East Hill frequents that forum, I think she has done some building. As you know, many of the posters use screen names that are non gender specific.

Didn't Solveg mention building and/or restoring an old Mondonico? And I think she took a wheel-building class?

Way cool Louis......................I think that I might have a new definition for NOS. (new old stock for those of you who don't haunt Ebay)

A beauty for sure, nice job. A lot of patience and skill must have gone into that
project to net such a fine result.

Thanks for the kind remarks folks.
