Nuun Report
I responded to someone in a thread a week or so back with regards to Nuun Hydration tablets. I wanted to give this report. I now have tried them on several long rides. 1/2 strength (cut the tablet in half) is what works for me. At full strength the taste was a little upsetting but at 1/2 strength it is just right. I found that hydration was much better, I actually drank more than normal without feeling bloated (I kept straight water in my hydration pack and Nuun in one bottle). My muscles were less stiff towards the end of a 50 mile ride and my output was more consistent through out the latter 1/2 of the ride. I just ordered more as I think I will use it through out the summer. Oh - and the tell tail sign, at the end of the ride my urine was clear - not dark, maybe that was Too Much Information. Of course the weather has not turned hot - but I can tell things are better now.

I was the one you responded to and I was anxious to see your report. I read impressive comments about Nuun last year. I'd like something that tastes good, doesn't contain high fructose corn syrup, really works, and is portable. This seems to fit the bill. Thanks for posting the report!

I also use Nuun tablets for my rides. I use gels or food for my energy and Nuun for hydration. This works much better for me than using 'sports drinks'. I do feel that I have a better after ride recovery due to the use of the Nuun.
