    What would PCad do?

    I have no idea.

If you had $1500 to burn (say, from the economic stimulus plan or whatever) and were limited to just the choices I'm giving you, what would you do?

Helpful background information: 1. My 30th aniversary is this weekend 2. We can't go anywhere because my bro-in-law is coming into town 3. Even if we could, escaping from our maleeshka (new 12 y/o daughter) would be very tricky. 4. I've really not been a very good boy lately. "All you ever think about is riding your bike", etc.

If I had $1500 I'd buy a tank of gas.

Could someone please explain...what is an I-mac?

    Louis,

Do you remember an old Simon and Garfunkle song, "The Big Bright Green Pleasure Machine?" Well, that's what an I-mac is.

Went to the Apple store last week with wifey with the idea of maybe buying one. We walked out of there with two.

I think he was asking what an "I-mac" is, not what an "iMac" is.

I voted I Mac as the daughter and better half can enjoy it while you're riding.

Yeah, I remember that song...hmmm...that 'splains it.

When I left the high tech world in '94, I REALLY left the high tech world. It's like I've been living in a cave, and lovin' it.

Now back to the original question. I think P-Cad would sell hot I-Macs on ebay.

What a great song off of Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme.

EDIT: Spinning the iPod to that album while I work.

    Who he, and why relevant?

Spending - nice old cheap tandem. Best times of my life with daughter Lucy, age 12, 13, 14, and 15. She came to visit last month, age 19. "What do you want to do?" "Dad, can we go out on the tandem?"

You know, Pcad, I've always looked up to you as kind of like a father figure, and Botto as a brother, and when you blow us off because we're fat, old and slow, well, it hurts. It hurts. It really hurts.

I'm guessing that he must be someone that people know from another forum, and who has recently turned 50.

If you're going to use the quote, at least use it correctly.
Probably too much to ask of your obviously addled, sclerotic, middle-aged brain.

The quote is: "Where ignorance is bliss, 'tis folly to be wise"

Hm. Come to think of it, that's very apropo for the Road Forum, now, isn't it?
