Gone to the wheeled side.

I started swimming, last November, after being sidelined with a running injury. Two seemingly nice pool ladies suggested I get a bike and ride with them once the weather improved. My husband decided that was a good idea and ordered a bike for me on Valentine's Day. I've been playing with the bike, pedals, etc. since it arrived in April.

Today's ride was 52 miles with an avg speed of 15+ mph. Max was 31 mph and left me wanting more.

I couldn't have done it without all the good advice generously given here.

Good advice on this forum? You must have interpereted it wrong.

Well done but slow down a bit- Just so you don't show your "Advisors" up.

And no pics of the ride

You say you first started cycling in Feb and are now riding 50+ miles in just over 3 hours? I may have to take up swimming and running.

True that. I'd love to post numbers like hers, but you've got to remember--I've only been riding 30 years. .

My thoughts exactly!!!

What a great short story. Sounds like you've found a new love. Where are the pictures of your bike?
