    It's been fun

I stayed away from the NASTY thread that started out as a simple
question/observation and ended up showing what I interpretate as the
ugly side of at least one of our Mods. Not having the intelligence or
social graces that most of the 50+ members have, I was hesitant to
participate at first a couple years back. Every one here accepted me as
I am and I felt comfortable enough to become a frequent poster. I put my foot
in my mouth a few times, stepped on some people's feelings and offered
open apologies yet still felt accepted and at ease.

That feeling of comfort is gone. It's time to look for another sandbox to
    play in for a while.

Ouch! Don't go - you are one the folks I really like hearing from here - always a force of moderation.

All social groups have mini tempests. The most friendly pets will sometives snap at each othe and just as often end up washing each others ears (forget it). Take a breather and come back soon. I think you were wiser than I to stay quiet.

The sun will rise tomorrow - and the day after.

Sometimes this place sucks. Just take a break. Chime in when you feel like it. Or not. Just don't let any of the jack.a.sses here RUN you off.

And you call yourself cranky? Sheesh.

Hope to see ya back soon.

I guess there is a good and a bad to every venture in life.

    Me, I'm sticking around.

The good FAR outweighs the bad.
