I'm too busy wasting my time to bother with faffing.

Of course it is..... mostly.
The bigger question is... who is presumptuous enough to parse and catigorize the faffage?
What's next? Percentile ratings on the alleged offenders?

Edited to add:
We need a poll!

How about faffing in a private period - or, for that matter, an exclamation point or a question mark?

The term for faffing can be as long or as short as you desire.

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=faffing

It's really quite a good word. I like definition #3: The excessive use of time for nonsense activities

If you participate here you are truely a faffer.

That's why God made the Road Forum. Faffing is not allowed there.

I also like #1 - Feckin' around

I tend to do a lot of this lately.

To faff or not to faff, THAT is the question....

But I guess if I think about it for long, I've already decided...

So help me to understand. It's easy to tell from the title pretty much what you're going to find. If this is the kind of stuff that puts you off, why'd you open the thread?

I think, deep in his heart, he just wanted to faff a bit, but can't admit it to himself. After all, how silly!

Oh, you can try to not open these kind of threads--but the Evil Power of teh Internets compels you, sapping your free will and forcing you not only to open it but to read every post (no matter how many pages there are!), kicking and screaming (figuratively, at least) all the while. I hate when that happens.

I've been wondering the same thing.

It reminds me of the old joke:
An elderly woman calls police to complain that a man in a neighboring house has been exposing himself as he showers because he doesn't pull his window blind. The police arrive, look out her window, and claim they can't even see his bathroom window. The woman responds "of course not, you've got to stand on the bureau to see anything".
