Rear End Progress

Caught you on that one! Getting a new bike rack!

My truck is being repaired and I am gaining a Yakima Swing Away Rack to replace the damaged one. The damaged one is no longer made. To bad!

The cost to replace the rear window that the Yakima rack took out: $ 700.00 plus install.

All this money to repair a truck that gets 12 mpg. Maybe I should have negotiated for a Bruce Gordon or Rivendell Touring bike with all XT components (except bar end shifters), sold the truck and been done with it. I was so disappointed that $ 1,500.00 in free gas was all hot air.
