May have solved the bike storage problem!

Been keeping Ruby in the spare bedroom, but it's a bit awkward. Plus, the new GF has been making "I might want to get a bike too!" sounds lately. (We're off to an LBS today to check things out.)

Then I realized we have this "guest" bathroom (done in the latest pink and green colors that are so hot right now). We never use the tub / shower.

Took Ruby in for a fitting, and voila! Fits like a glove! Plus, a second bike would fit under the towel rack on the left hand side.

Problem solved!

I realize it is a seldom-used space, but I predict your solution may not be ultimately fully embraced by your GF.
Keep us posted!

Rub-a-dub-dub 2 bikes in the tub!?

Rub a dub dub,
Three bikes in a tub,
And who do you think they be?
The Roubaix, The Cypress
The Peugeot Mojave.
Turn them out, knaves all three.

I hope if you're planning on keeping your and your girlfriends bike in the shower, that you'll be sure they are practicing "safe storage"!!

To really make a statement ... I think you should move the entire pink tub, bike and shower curtain to the living room and display it like a piece of modern art.

When you get done riding, you both can jump into the shower together.
How did the flip it feel?

So far, the flip feels fine. It's such a small adjustment (turning the inside collar around) that I don't really feel anything. I may have to spring a spacer this weekend.
