What's up with my Bike Butler?
I flatted my rear tire last night about three blocks from home during late dusk. Given my proximity to home, I figured my Bike Butler would take care of the problem overnight. Heck, I wouldn't have cared if he had watched TV while attending to the chore.
This morning, I'm shocked to notice that the tire is still flat, and my Bike Butler is nowhere to be found.
So my question is: is this something I should address with a verbal warning, or does it qualify for a written reprimand? I hesitate only because good Bike Butlers are hard to find, and frankly, he's done pretty well up until now.

Let it slide with a verbal this time, but make it clear there are no second chances. If it weren't for his exemplary record up to now, immediate dismissal would be in order.

I tend to be indirect about things like that.
Stick a few pictures of pool boy up around your place and my bet is that your bike butler will come right around.

Perhaps you shouldn't have moved the bikes into his Pink & Green room.
Remember, a happy Butler is a Productive Butler. You need to find out
in a subtle manner, if he was offended by being evicted from his Bathroom.
He may just be lashing out at you in the only way he knows how to.
Perhaps you could build him a Rubbermaid shed out back as retribution?

Just remember that it is hard to get staff nowadays. Even if he is getting old and beginning to forget things. Perhaps he needs a new- younger asistant so time for G.F to find out how Rubber solution and tyre levers are used.

Did you leave the bike in your mancave, with a plate of cookies and a glass of milk?
