A 65+'r with a 50+'r Jersey

A 65+'r with a 50+'r Jersey

Since many other folks have posted their 50+ Jerseys . . . .

OK, it is with GREAT trepidation that I post a picture of a 68+'r wearing a 50+ Jersey. But, since we don't have a 65+ Jersey, this will have to do!

No nasty comments, please! (I just finished a 4 hour ride)

maybe just the photo, but it looks like new handlebar tape is in order.
Other than that, you look all set to go.

Well, actually, I just finished a 4 hour ride - so I guess I am all set to stop!

And, it is the picture = bar tape is fine.

I bought about 10 pair of these gloves on sale, because I need gloves with little or no padding. They no longer make this glove, and I don't quite know what I will do when the last pair wears out! They only come in blue.

It's nice that you bought tires and bar tape to match the jersey.

And I hear you on gloves without padding. That's my preference and they're very difficult to find. When I can find them, they're very expensive ($50 for the last pair I bought.) Now those thickly padded spawn-of-oven-mitt gloves are a dime-a-dozen. Doesn't seem right.

If you are all real nice, I will post a picture of me in my Spider Man Jersey!

The little kids just love it - and they point at me and say "Spider Man, Spider Man!"

Err . . . or maybe I won't

68+ is still in the 50+ range, even using the New Math.

Wear it with pride where ever you ride.

That's how the bike came from the factory, and I have maintained the tire color and the tape color. I like them, and the Lemond is now getting to have sort of a "vintage" look about it.

And zip that shirt up buddy, this is a family forum.
