Good Grief.... Not me, nothankyou. I'd get about 3 minutes out from the first coffee&donut stop and I'd be over to the side orally filling the ditch to the accompaniment of rap like gagging sounds.....

I have a real problem with overload on things like donuts. The whole body goes lethargic after 1 or 2. SO, I would just go for the ride, not eating the doughnuts.

Howeer, I guess Beverly will eat 5.

You could build up enough negative time that you could just casually spin your way through the event and have a chance of winning.

The ride results!

We had a great time on this ride. The course was flat, the weather was great and the headwinds were minimal.

There were two rest stops with donuts. Unfortunately the donuts were glazed and my very least favorite. I seldom eat donuts and when I do it's generally whole wheat or blueberry.

I skipped breakfast and carried coffee in my water bottles because I knew I would need something to wash down the donuts. At the first stop I was able to wash down 4 of them. The people I ride with were surprised I ate that many. At the second stop I was only able to wash down 2 of them for a grand total of 6 for the ride. This took 30 minutes off my total ride time of 2:30. I thought the ride was 30 miles but it was 35 I also spent too much time at the first rest stop.

The most donuts ate by a female was 10. The most ate by a male was 25 This fellow was average size and I have no idea where he put them. He evidently had done other events like this because they said his record was 33.

It was around 7:00 in the evening before I felt like eating again I don't think I'll be eating any donuts for a long time.

Hey! Are we still eating donuts? Today was the first chance I had to get one, so I did. The counter girl at our cafe was shocked, but I was glad to help such a worthy cause. Sorry, no pictures.

Nice ride, Beverly! That works out to 1 donut for every 5.8333333333 miles.

A pizza ride would be a good idea . . . hmmmmmm . . .

Nothing better than a blueberry buttermilk doughnut from VG's donut shop in Cardiff-by-the-Sea CA. That was my reward for a long ride back in the day (before I gained weight from just thinking about doughnuts).

Whew! Glad VG's is clear out in California, makes it harder for me run there for a fix.

I love blueberries any way I can get 'em.
