Age is not an excuse

Before I started riding with the road crew I had been riding with the cruising crew. One of the men that inspired me to ride in the club was a man with a recumbent. We had four men but now it is down to one unless I take a day to ride with the recumbent group for a rest day. One day about half way through a 30 mile ride. Today the road guys dropped me after my leg started to cramp a bit and I had to slow down for a few miles. As I was heading back to the coffee shop I spotted my old friend on his recumbent. Got some pictures as I closed on him about two miles from where we would meet to take a break. Thought you might enjoy it.

Look at the smile on that 83 year old face.
