I didn't know we counted that high...................
If I'd planned ahead far enough I would have sent a fire extinguisher.
I do mind the repeating of mindless slogans and the refusal to countenance evidence for the opposing point of view, and especially when this is accompanied with abuse.
Slow down. I'm having trouble keeping up with you. I won't be 64 till next month.

It is really great having these wonderful birthday wishes.
Fridays are my special day with my son, Andy. He rides his 3 wheeler while I walk with him to places like BK, Wendy's or McD's, and we have lunch together and walk/ride back. Generally about 3.5 miles.
So, this am I rode to the rec center at 5:20 am (28F with some wind -BRR!), did a spin class for 45 minutes, swam for 45 minutes, and worked out in the weight room for about 30 minutes, then rode my bike back.
I did tell the spin class that I had reached 69 today. I think it is important for these young folks to know that some of us older folks are right there with them, keeping up. I got a round of applause.
About 11:30 I will do the ride/walk thing with Andy.
Then, maybe a nap!

Very happy wishes to you.
I'll have to remember to change what I tell others ... "I know a 68 (now 69) year old that can grind me into the ground."

Happy Birthday. Sounds like you already have gone out and gotten a good start on a happy one.

Don't forget to update your profile slogan: "Younger daily at 68"

They told me it's ok to post mileage over in the commuting forum, so you'll probably find me there these days.
I have purposely backed off totally from any forum "leadership" or whatever that was I used to think I did. Sadly, the 50+ forum is doing just great without me! Let's one know how unneeded they are, despite any visions of grandeur one might have about themselves.
Here's wishing you a very Happy Birthday.
It was humbling.
