Back in the saddle

After very few rides for over 5 weeks (and over 5 lbs of candy induced fat) I commuted to work today. It was 40F with a good steady rain. My custom tights and showers pass jacket/hood worked very well. I didn't stay fully dry but they held off soaking cold wet quite well. My Scatante cyclocross with Bionx electric assist helped me since I'm much weaker than a month ago. If I feel exceptionaly spry tomorrow I may take my Colnago for her maiden commute. I feel better already.

Glad to hear you're feeling well enough to be back in the saddle. Eager to hear the reports of the Colnago when you finally get it out on the road.
