March 8th.

This is the earliest it can possibly be under the current system. Second Sunday in March, 1st Sunday in November.

Not for me - I don't want it to be dark at 7 AM..... I wish they would never change! Just stay on "standard" time.

On March 9th sunrise is 7:17 AM at your location.

By March 18th, it is 7:00 AM.

By March 24th, it is 6:49 AM.

So not much reason to be concerned about it being dark at 7 AM.

Soon enough. When daylight savings time comes again, the hot scorching summer will be right around the corner. I want to enjoy this nice cool, comfortable weather while we have it.

Hopefully, never! If you want to get up earlier, just do it! Don't lie about what time it is and force everybody else to go along. Stupid bit of social engineering.

You'd best stay out of Arizona, DG, or you'll be waiting a loooooooooong time.

I'm with you.
If Arizona wasn't so hot I'd move there just for this reason. I can't live without being near the ocean though so I'm stuck in California.

Neither Standard or Daylight Savings Time is the actually correct time. The setting of what time it is was an arbitrary decision. There is no natural time. DST is no more artificial than Standard Time.

Besides, our Standard Time was based upon what time it was in Greenwich, England. And since Greenwich now employs a form of Daylight Savings Time in the summer, logic would dictate that since our time is based upon theirs, we need to change just like they do.

If we didn't employ DST then in June sunrise here in Wisconsin would at 4:30 AM. That makes no sense at all. I think it should be moved 2 hours, not 1 hour, here in the summer.
