OT: Skol Vikings

The symbolic closing of the holiday refrigerator door has been delayed until Monday.
Tomorrow will be spent consuming large quantities of football food while watching out beloved Vikes try to remain in the playoffs.
Man... I need to put on some miles.

Try putting the fridge at the bottom of the garden. At least you would get some exercise whenever you needed a snack.

I've been a lifelong Packer fan, but I'll be pulling for the Vikes today.

I don't get this violent animosity between teams/fans. And when did that even start? I remember everyone getting a kick out of Fran Tarkenton's scrambles, even if they were against "our" team.

Maybe have to figure out some interval training during the game today. High effort during plays, spin-down during huddles?

When it comes to the Vikings and the playoffs, it isn't a question of if they will be eliminated, it is when will they be eliminated.

You guys beat Adrian Peterson up so badly in the regular season, it will be interesting to see how much he has left in him.

Sad.... but true.

Not sure about that. He's still healthy and performing very well.

My favorite team won that Vikings game. Anyone that plays against them!!

Did you hear about the time the Vikes were practicing again a college team and were playing
so dirty the college team left the field?
Three plays later the Vikes scored!

That's just the way my youngest daughter feels about the Packers! Unfortunately, she had a winning record this year . . .

BTW, disappointing to see the Vikings collapse that way. Local sports reporter said it - thank goodness the Vikings don't have a good QB! Otherwise the rest of the division would really be in trouble.

Now that the Failcons are done toying with me, I'll have to decide which of the remaining teams I like. I just don't get as excited about pro ball as I do college. It has always been that way.

As a Philly guy all I can say is: "Oh, well. It's probably best to go out and get those miles in."

I would agree with that.
There's a lot of wasted talent running around the field.
And you can hand off to Adrian Peterson only so many times.

Well, as long as we're O.T. and since I don't care at all about football (American or otherwise), I'm just happy that Lewis Hamilton won the Formula 1 Driver's Championship for McLaren after getting within one point in 2007.
