Happy Birthday to my favorite former Royal Marine. Semper Fi to you from a former United States Marine.

I hope the weather lets you get some riding in this week.

Will there be a birthday ride today? Some of those desserts you have on your rides would make fantastic birthday cakes

Just a few more years and you'll be the same age as me....I've decided not to get any older

Happy Birthday!

Over the holidays I had the opportunity to see some nieces and nephews who I haven't seen in a year or so. How come they keep getting older and bigger while we stay exactly the same?

Had every intention of getting a decent ride in----But I now know why I ride my age at some other time of the year. Didn't even make it to the cafe- but that did not matter--See attachment for reason

Got home from work early but the cold weather has hit. Temp of 18F and a wind that was taking any warmth away as quick as it arrived. Only managed 5 miles to the cafe before the hands felt ----well they felt nothing and the feet were almost as bad. Turned round so only 10 miles done. BUT- My daughter has made me a cake.Coffee and walnut and Picture enclosed for anyone that wants a slice. You'll have to be quick though as The neighbours are coming round.

Happy birthday Stapfam, ten miles in the cold is very good I did ten in bits today and the wind and cold (17f) kept trying to turn on my asthma...but the sun was out and the ride was dry so all in all a great day for a ride...riminds me why I chose to be born in the summer time though

Happy Birthday, Doug!

Kudos to you for your below-freezing ride and going as far as you did.

And that's a pretty good-looking cake! Best wishes for many more birthdays and many more miles.
