Have a nice weekend!

After working 12-hour shifts virtually every Saturday and Sunday since 1990, plus multiple shorter weekdays in recent years, I started a new Monday-Friday 8-5 job for the same hospital system yesterday. More opportunities to bicycle commute to work! Opportunities to join club rides on the weekend! Daylight savings time to extend summer weekday evening riding opportunities! It's all good, except maybe the part about the M-F grind. Hopefully, soon I'll stop cringing when someone says "Have a nice weekend!"

Congrats on the new schedule. I hope you can get the rides in you want to do. Sounds like some weekend club or group rides are in order if that is your cup of tea.
