Missed the bullet

As I posted in the health insurance string for the last couple of months I've being fighting breast cancer, well today my surgeon confirmed the message the onocologist told me last Tuesday. He gave me the letter from the Cancer Clinic to read.Being a firm believer in that if it ain't in writting, don't believe in what you are told. The letter confimed that there was NO further treatment for my cancer needed and I am home free to get on with life.I think I'll have a wee dram or two tonight. Cheers

I don't drink dram, but I am mighty pleased about your prognosis, and may have an orange ice cream bar in your honor!

Congratulations on the outstanding news!

I have nothing here with any significant octane rating to drink, nonetheless I'll hoist something in your honor.

I toasted your good fortune with a glass of chocolate milk. Low-fat, of course.

Great news!

My brother is a scientist working on a vaccine for breast cancer. These sort of stories always make me think of him and the challenges everyone faces in your position. Congratulations.

My confirnation of being Cancer free came after 5 years of 6 monthly visits to the Hospital- Only to be be told- see you in 6 months. On the 5th year they actually stated that the C had not been present for 5 years so I was officially clear. We don't get it in writing over here- but just those words you are clear lifted a great big weight off my shoulders.

Congrats and get out on the bike and ride. Should be worth a couple of slices of PIE this time to celebrate.
